About the Scheme

Brief
The Golden Jubilee Merit Award (GJMA) is a major initiative by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh to celebrate the states 50th year of statehood by rewarding academic high-achievers. It has two primary branches: a state-level award for higher education and district-level awards for school students.

Objectives

The Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh desires to encourage APST students or any students passing class XII from schools located within the State for selection to IITs, IIMs, AIIMSs and NLUs through National Level Entrance Examinations and admission thereof.

Eligibility Criteria

-Must be an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) student.

-Non-APST students are eligible only if they completed their Class XII from a school within Arunachal Pradesh.

Benefits

A one-time cash prize of ₹2 lakh.
