About the Scheme
Brief
The Atma Nirbhar Bagwani Yojana (ANBY) is a flagship credit-linked subsidy scheme launched by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh to promote self-reliance in the horticulture sector. It provides financial assistance for cultivating high-value fruit crops and procuring agricultural machinery
Objectives
- To promote self-reliance in Arunachal Pradeshs horticulture sector by encouraging commercial farming and increasing local production
- To transform educated youths into "Agri-preneurs"
- To double incomes and establish Arunachal Pradesh as a self-reliant "Fruit Hub
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant should be belong to any of the below mentioned category:
Farmers, SHGs, FPOs
- Applicant should be directly involves in Horticulture Activity
Benefits
- 45% Government subsidy
- 45% will be provided as Bank Loan
- 10% is the contribution of applicant
- Loans are collateral-free up to ₹1.6 lakh for individuals and ₹10 lakh for youth groups (SHGs/FPOs), easing entry for new entrepreneurs
- The scheme promotes high-value crops like kiwi, apple, orange, walnut, and dragon fruit for better returns
- Financial aid covers both cultivation and essential farm machinery like tractors and power tillers
- The Horticulture Department offers technical guidance and hands-on support for new farmers
