About the Scheme
Brief
The Atma Nirbhar Plantation Yojana (ANPY) is a flagship credit-linked subsidy scheme launched by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. It aims to promote self-reliance by providing financial assistance for sustainable plantation activities across the state
Objectives
The scheme promotes agricultural self-reliance by expanding high-value plantations like Arecanut, Coffee, Rubber, Tea, and Coconut to boost farmer income
Eligibility Criteria
- Aged 18 to 60 years
- Individual farmers with landholdings between 0.5 and 25 hectares
- SHGs having a minimum of 1.0 hectare (up to 50 hectares) and be focused on the agricultural sector
- FPOs must be state-registered with at least 100 shareholders and 5 hectares of land
Benefits
- 45% Government subsidy
- 45% Bank Loan
- 10% Beneficiary Contribution
- Loans up to ₹1.60 lakh for individual beneficiaries do not require collateral
- Loans up to ₹10 lakh for Self-Help Groups (SHGs) do not require collateral
- Support is given for high-value crops suited to Arunachal Pradesh’s agro-climatic zones to boost farmer income
