About the Scheme
Brief
Corporate Mitras are government-certified compliance facilitators who act as a "first level of support" for small businesses. They bridge the gap between complex regulatory requirements and MSME owners by handling routine filings and basic bookkeeping, allowing business owners to focus on growth rather than paperwork
Objectives
- Help MSMEs meet regulatory, statutory, and documentation requirements at affordable costs
- Provide professional advisory services in smaller towns where such expertise is often scarce or expensive
- Reduce the cost and time involved in navigating government systems and legal processes
- Assist MSMEs with proper financial documentation to enhance their credit profiles and lower loan interest rates
Eligibility Criteria
For Aspirants (Becoming a Corporate Mitra):
- Graduates from science, arts, or business administration can enrol
- Ideal for commerce graduates, semi-qualified CA/CS/CMA professionals, and early-career accountants
For Beneficiaries (MSMEs):
- All MSMEs, startups, and small business owners seeking professional guidance on compliance and government schemes
